At some point I hope to be able to transition the current scheme for the papers, which is useful for database records, to a publishing scheme that is independent of a numbering scheme. The use of 1Ex, 1Lx, CLx, etc has been useful during the course of this study, but as I have made additional findings, the numbers have fallen out of their original, loosely chronological scheme. For example, the 1L3 paper is one of the last papers used for the series, and some of the 1E3 papers were issued after the 1E4 paper.
The descriptive name for each of these papers needs to exclude numbers and needs to contain the following information (I use the 1E1 as an example):
1. Color (cream)
2. Thickness (medium)
3. Grid, when present (Rectangular symmetric)
4. Perforation (neat)
5. Watermark (Wavy Rays medium size RA, clear)
6. Watermark direction (parallel in reference to printing direction of paper roll)
7. Gum (yellowish)
8. Time in use (1935 to 1937)
9. Stamps for it (10cR, 12cBR,...)
